4.1.1 Third-Party AI Providers

To deliver our AI-powered automation services, we transmit necessary Customer Data to third-party artificial intelligence providers, which may include OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and other AI technology companies. Important information about this data sharing:

  • Data is transmitted only as necessary to process your requests and perform automated tasks
  • These providers are required under our agreements with them not to use your Customer Data to train their general-purpose AI models
  • We select AI providers who maintain appropriate security certifications and data protection standards
  • The specific providers we use may change as we improve our Services
  • A current list of our AI subprocessors is available upon request by emailing hi@rover.app

4.2 Slack

As our primary service delivery platform, Slack receives and processes communications between you and our AI Agent. Information shared through Slack is subject to both this Privacy Policy and Slack's privacy policy. We use Slack Connect to establish secure cross-organization channels for service delivery.

4.3 Third-Party Integrations

When you connect third-party services to Rover, we share necessary data to perform requested automations. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective privacy policies.

4.4 Business Transfers

In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity. We will provide notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

  • Active accounts: Data retained while your account is active
  • Closed accounts: Billing records, transaction history, and communications are retained for 7 years for tax, legal, and compliance purposes; other account data is deleted within 90 days of account closure
  • Customer Data: Available for export for 30 days after account termination, then deleted
